Walking Drop-off Service.

Take advantage of our walking drop-off and pick-up service to access remote locations only accessible by boat. We will transport you to ‘Britains last wilderness‘ to experience exhilarating and awe inspiring landscapes!

The most beautiful area in Scotland, Knoydart is a peninsula on the West coast opposite Skye. The scenery throughout is spectacular and if you have never been to this area before, it is unforgettable. Dramatic ridges, huge crags like Coire Dhorrcail on the North side of Ladhar Bheinn that seem to fall into the sea. Amazing sea and mountain views from the summits. It won’t disappoint, these majestic peaks are remote from civilisation giving a real sense of wilderness to those who take on their defences. Superlative and challenging mountain walking. Rough, rocky summits packed with bags of character.

By using Inverie or Barrisdale as a base you are able to explore the range between the Loch of Hell (Loch Hourn) and the Loch of Heaven (Loch Nevis). With Minch Adventures you’ll be able to explore deep into these lochs, gain access to remote drop-offs or pickups that will make your exploration of the hills and mountains accessible, but equally fresh as you’ll be away from any other walkers. Low level walks and family walks such as Kinloch Hourn to Barrisdale, Loch Morar to Tarbet, Camusrory to Inverie,  all are possible with Minch Adventures drop off charter hire.

Ladhar Bheinn, Luinne Beinn, Meall Buidhe, Sgurr na Ciche, the Black Hills Beinn Bhuidhe, Beinn na Callich – Munro’s and Corbett’s,. These are demanding walks and should not be undertaken unless you are proficient with map and compass. You should also be well equipped to cope with sudden weather changes. The walks visit some of the remotest areas of Scotland and help is a long way away.
